Most homes here rely on fresh water that is caught from the roof of the house, but rain is just not coming. Every once in a while we'll get a nice drench but not near the normal for this little island. So many here have had to resort to having fresh water delivered to replenish their water tanks. It's been interesting to observe the many trucks up and down the road. Most of this water has to be desalinated.
You know how annoying it is when your cooking and you forget to get the butter out to soften. Well here, sitting the butter outside works faster than the microwave and much more evenly. Isn't it great!
After our Doctrine & Covenants class, Bart had a car load of folks to take home. So Latricia and I waited for him to come back and pick us up. This is the view we had as we waited, it was so beautiful. Make sure and click on the picture to enlarge, so you can see the sail boats of many colors.
Any one who knows Bart knows how much he loves a good "Hot Dog". Well he was not to be disappointed here in Bermuda, it's "dog gone time". How about you Mary, you want a hot dog? Ha, ha, ha! As you can see the fellow has done it up very professional. I very much like the slaw dog......it's a popular place, always very busy.
